WINNIPEG HERO SERIES
This section is all about the everyday heroes who make our city great.
Does anyone remember Faron Hall?
Faron Hall, known as the "Homeless Hero," saved multiple people from drowning. In 2009, he rescued a teenager who fell from the Provencher Bridge and later that year, saved a woman from drowning in the same river.
Ironically, in August 2014, he was seen struggling in the Red River but couldn't be saved. His body was later recovered. He lived from 1964–2014.
